Boy, it’s a wake-up call when someone sends you a link to something called “Who should you vote for in 2008” and your survey answers don’t match you with the person you thought aligned with your key issues.
But I tell you what, it’s even more alarming when the answer is someone you haven’t even heard of. Mike Gravel! Who is this guy? Well, after reading a bit more about him (and admitting that I probably saw him and ruled him out just based on looks and non-name recognition, how sad is that), I realized I may just have voted for him in the primary … if he even was on the ticket in NYC (he wasn’t). Ah, our system definitely has it’s flaws.
