Impending wildlife stampede

31 10 2007

I am very excited. In reading around the Singapore tags on the Blogroll, I hear that Dr. Jane Goodall is coming to Singapore this Friday afternoon. I’ll be there … she says to bring a recycled costume of an endangered species (not sure I have one of those in the closet) and an eco-picnic.

Event runs from 4-7pm in the Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden in Singapore’s Botanical Gardens (another place on the list!)

More information

I promise to take some pics and share some post-event memories. Any locals who want to go just let me know.

Reba – There are 18 endangered animals and 3 endangered plants in Connecticut. I never thought to be one for Halloween. Might I suggest you look for a dwarf wedgemussel costume? You’d certainly win for originality.

Hope all is well – I am back on the east coast and miss you!!

HI again! Now I know why the J.Goodall conference/picnic didn’t reach us…you were moving into your apartment. Happiness is a place to call home ;-) When you get a chance, please send us you new mailing address, just in case any oldies and goodies have a need to use “snail mail”. Can’t wait to read your next entry…hope it includes pics of your home away from home. xoxoxo Mom
